Today we won’t be talking about big guns for big boys. Nor about expensive stuff such as CSGO knives and AWPs. Today we’ll talk about the most basic pea-shooter on Terrorist side - the Glock-18 and its skins.
Glock Skins – Explained 2020
Glock-18 is the starting, default pistol for Terrorist side. Although in-game this Austrian sidearm is called Glock-18, its design and, most importantly, the ability to burst-fire makes it more akin to Glock-26. Mechanically, Glock-18 is a second of the only two weapons having the ability to burst-fire, the other being FAMAS.
Damagewise, Glock is very weak, but can still one-shot kill an unarmored enemy with a headshot. Taking into consideration its massive magazine of 20 shots, Glock enables the T side to proficiently rush down the players on the CT side and win the pistol round and the first eco round.
From the CSGO skin trading perspective Glock skins are rather cheap and common with some individual exceptions. However, to better represent CSGO Glock skins, in general, we decided to focus on skins from a few different price ranges.
Glock-18 | Wasteland Rebel
Glock-18 | Weasel will bring happiness to all fans of these furry animals. However, do not forget that weasels, other than being cute and furry, can be sometimes very tenacious and persistent. Just like an expert player with Glock-18 against AKs. The odds are not in his favor but do not forget Glock also kills.
Pricewise, it’s under $2 for normal version and around $5 for StatTrak, except Factory New that may sometimes reach $15 or even $20.
Where can you get Glock skins?
Every of the Glock CSGO skins we talked about comes from a different CSGO case. Wasteland Rebel can be rarely dropped from Gamma Case, Water Elemental Glock skin is found in the Operation Breakout Weapon Case, Twilight Galaxy doesn’t come from any cases and was introduced as a random drop through The Chop Shop Collection, Moonrise can be found in Clutch Case and Weasel is a part of Gamma 2 Case.
In general, the prices of these Glock skins do not justify buying both cases and keys and trying to drop one of these weapon skins in such a way. However, if you just have some of the cases and keys lying around, you may try your luck, especially with Clutch case. If you’re very lucky, you may drop one of the glove CSGO skin which will most likely pay off all expenses.
Buying and selling Glock skins
When it comes to buying CS GO Glock skins, you have two main options. You can either go for the Steam Community Market or one of the third-party websites. The differences between the two are as follows: Steam has high prices, buyer’s transaction fee, and high security whereas third-party CSGO trading markets offer lower prices, lower fees but are usually less protected.
