P2000 is a semi-automatic gun manufactured by the German Heckler & Koch for law enforcement and paramilitary usage and can be found in various different versions depending on the caliber of the chambered bullets. The type found in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is based on the 9mm model found in real life.

In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, P2000 is an exclusive starting gun for the Counter-Terrorists’ side and can be roughly compared to Glock-18 on the Terrorists’ side. Thus, for a T-side player picking up a P2000 from a dead CT is the only way to acquire it during a game. It is also worth mentioning that P2000 is an alternative option for the USP-S and can be bought from the same buy menu slot.

Compared to Glock-18, P2000 deals higher damage and is more accurate, but has a smaller magazine size and does not have a burst fire alternate fire mode. Thus it requires a single-shot distance tap fire rather than rushing for close-combat. It is also not advisable to pick P2000 for an eco round due to its low damage against armored opponents.

Taking into consideration We’ve picked five P2000 skins we think are the most interesting, either because of their considerably high popularity and price or because they are just interesting from the design perspective.

P2000 | Fire Elemental

P2000 | Fire Elemental is the only Covert grade skin out of all CS GO P2000 skins available in the game. It goes in normal and StatTrak-equipped versions and can be found the entire spectrum of wear levels. From the design perspective, its kind of cartoonish with a blue base and, well, a fire elemental-like creature drawn on it. Pricewise, the normal version costs between $8 and $15. A StatTrak one is considerably more expensive reaching up to $100 for the Factory New. You can also try opening some Operation Vanguard Weapon Cases if you are feeling lucky.

P2000 | Imperial Dragon

A classified grade pistol that was introduced to CSGO as a part of the Gamma Collection back in 2016. It rocks a show-offy vibe – a metallic gold dragon motif painted on a brownish base. The normal version is quite cheap, as you can get for around $2.50. The StatTrak P2000 | Imperial Dragon is not much more expensive. Well, except for the Factory New wear level that, depending on the float, it can cost over $20.

P2000 | Corticera

P2000 is one of the oldest out of all P2000 skins available in CSGO as it was introduced in 2014 as a part of the eSports 2014 Summer Collection. Therefore, it can be found in the eSports 2014 Summer Case. Painted in green and orange corticera tree motif, this P2000 skin is a work of art. It is available in only three wear levels: Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested, however, it can be found in both normal and StatTrak versions. Despite the age, the price is not high. The normal version rarely reaches $8, whereas the StatTrak version goes up to $12 for Field-Tested and Minimal Wear. Factory New, traditionally, can reach $30 with StatTrak equipped. However, it is worth noting that P2000 | Corticera is one of the skins that won’t lose much on lower wear levels.

P2000 | Ocean Foam

One of the weirdest as well as one of the best P2000 CSGO skins pricewise, P2000 | Ocean Foam comes only in two wear levels. Minimal Wear that costs around $60 (normal) or up to $200 (StatTrak) and Factory New costing $60 for normal and $175 for StatTrak. First of all, this is one of the few skins that have Factory New wear lever cheaper than Minimal Wear. Secondly, is rather rare and may be hard to get. Form the design perspective, it is a transparent blue hydrographic abstract lines over metallic base giving the feeling of a sunny seaside.

P2000 | Woodsman

Out of all CSGO P2000 skins, this is one might be my least favorite, personally. I just don’t really like the woodlands camo lower part and green and orange top. However, some people may like it. It came in Operation Hydra Collection in 2017 and it is a widespread, cheap skin. The normal version does not go over $4. StatTrak-equipped one can be found for $3 to $12 depending on the wear level.

Where can you get P2000 skins?

Almost all P2000 are quite easy to buy second hand. As one of the pistols, P2000 isn’t as popular as assault rifles or even other pistols, thus the prices aren’t very high. The exception here is Ocean Foam, but with its two wear levels, Minimal Wear more expensive than Factory New and very high price it should be treated rather as an anomaly among all P2000 skins. If you want to try your luck, you can open up some cases, especially the eSports 2014 Summer Case, as the P2000 | Corticera will only gain on value with the passing time.

How to sell P2000 skins

If you have some P2000 skins and want to sell them, you have three basic options. The first one is the Steam Community Market. It is the safest way to sell the gun you want to get rid of, the prices are also the highest but there’s one problem – your money will have to stay on Steam Wallet and you can only use it to buy new skins, keys or games on Steam. The second option are the third-party markets. Although numerous, many of them should not be trusted. The prices are lower, but they offer a wide range of payout options. Lastly, if you want to sell P2000 skins for real money fast, consider Skinwallet. We will buy your skins off you, no questions asked, for a relatively good price.

Are P2000 skins popular?

Due to the sidearm character of P2000 (exclusive Counter-Terrorists gun) and very specific use cases, P2000 isn’t very popular. After all, you won’t be seeing it a lot during your game time, so why bother with expensive and rare skins?
