It has been exactly 129 days since the Prisma 2 Case went live. And boy, we were hungry! With no new stickers, nor souvenirs on the market due to the postponed Rio Major the market for old stickers went up and away.
Yet, for most players, we just wanna have fun blasting enemies with new, stylish guns. Luckily, the wait is over! The Fracture Case is here and it’s filled to the brim with new interesting design choices never seen before. Please enjoy, the best of the best from the Fracture Case.
What are the best Fracture Case skins?
Now before we jump into the skins itself, let’s define what we mean by best of Fracture Case skins. First of all, it has to be rare, so the higher the grade, the more important it is. After all, rarity has an impact on the potential price of the skin. Secondly, the design itself. It has to move us, look cool, and be either very artistic or clever. After all, the looks are the most important aspect of CSGO skins. Furthermore, we’ll be looking at how that particular design fits with the rest of the CSGO skins for the given weapon or possible skins sets. Lastly, we can’t really tell at this point what the prices for each skin will be. All we can do is give you just some very loose projections on intuition and gut feeling.
Finally, without further ado, let’s jump into it!
AK-47 | Legion of Anubis
It’s a beast of a design available in both normal and StatTrak that is a bit similar to what AK-47 | The Empress provides. Very artistic and well-chiseled, it depicts Anubis surrounded by fitting elements taken right away from the legacy of arts and crafts of Ancient Egypt. The beautiful gold contrasted with dark, deep blue and green hues feels like a cold chamber of a tomb surrounded by hot Egyptian sun. It surely is a gun fit for a pharaoh and will most likely drain your treasury like one – we surely see this Fracture Case skins in the $1000s of dollars.
Desert Eagle | Printstream
Let’s be honest: the good ole’ Deagle had waited for a skin like this from the beginning. Most of the skins designed for the Desert Eagle are over the top. Flames, a lot of tattoo-like prints, harsh colors. All that underlines its bulkiness and heavy model design. And that’s why we are very happy to finally see a perfect balance between minimalism and rich geometric print. The stark black and white design finished with just a touch of pearlescent here and there is a breath of fresh air. This may be a new superstar of the Deagle family, so prepare for $100-$300 range, and possibly much more for the StatTrak Factory New.
M4A4 | Tooth Fairy
Now, this is something that is amazing and unnerving at the same time. This horror approach to the Tooth Fairy is a masterful design by 2Minds that reminds us of monsters in the closets and under the bed. The ominous “Don’t Sleep”, teeth on the barrel that are reminiscent of a kill-count, the brutal color palette and her, the Tooth Fairy – everything works together creating a truly original skin. This is something we have never seen before! Surely one of the best Fracture Collection skins and most likely one of the best M4A4 CSGO skins. The price? We can easily see it in the mid-hundreds up to a grand for a good StatTrak. Interestingly enough, the wear and tear, even though clearly visible, may play well with the horror side of this design only adding to the aesthetic value.
Glock-18 | Vogue
This classified peashooter is a work of art, and we mean it literally. Taking inspiration from Pop art artists like Andy Warhol or Roy Lichtenstein it depicts a pair of captivating eyes. Vogue uses a very sneaky color palette of purples, violets, and blues with some warmer orange and yellow undertones. You need some serious skill to pull such design off! Being a Glock CSGO skin and available in both normal and StatTrak versions, it will soon become one of the more popular skins. While it shouldn’t outprice Glock-18 | Fade, we can see it reach $200 for certain pieces.
XM1014 | Entombed
Very interesting choice of colors that, similarly to AK-47 | Legion of Anubis, strike the Egyptian tones. This time, however, it’s less symbolic and more just painting for the sarcophagus. Moreover, cracks and texture differences give it a nice touch. It’s available in all wear levels in both normal and StatTrak versions. However, being a skin for the relatively unpopular gun, XM1014 | Entombed shouldn’t be too expensive one the prices stabilize – few dollars up to $50 for StatTrak FN is a safe bet. Still, it is a fine addition to an Ancient Egypt thematic set.
What’s next for the Fracture Case Skins?
Now, we have to wait for the prices to stabilize after the initial craze, which should take up to 2 weeks. All in all, The Fracture Collection is very interesting good and has practically no boring designs. Next time we will take a closer look at the lower grade skins from the Fracture Case.
